The Sacred Valley, also known as the Valley of Urubamba, is unique and very diverse. Not only does it offer breathtaking landscapes, but Peruvians believe it to be full of a particular, positive energy. Here you can find ruins from the Inca Empire, which are viewed as the most important and strategic in the entire country. You can spend many days discovering new wonders in this part of the Cusco region. The ruins, built in the shape of a llama, are impressive and incredible, and very different from those you will have seen in Pisac! Time permitting, we will also visit a local family who produce ´chicha de jora´ – a typical, Andean corn beer.

From Ollantaytambo you will go directly by train to Aguas Calientes, where you will have time to rest before exploring the famous ruins of Machu Picchu early the next day!

You will start the tour from Aguas Calientes where, early in the morning, you will take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu. In the ruins you will have a guided tour lasting approximtely 2 hours, after which you will have time to explore and discover the ancient city independently. You are welcome to stay in Machu Picchu until 5 pm, after which you will make your own way back to Aguas Calientes by bus.

From Aguas Calientes, you will take a train to Ollantaytambo. In Ollantaytambo our private transport will be waiting to meet you and take you directly to Cusco where you will arrive around 22:30 pm.
